Branding & Logo Design

Highland Presbyterian Church

The Brief

Highland Presbyterian Church in North Carolina partnered with me to create their visual identity as they sought to engage a growing and diverse community. What started as a home church has quickly grown into a community in need of a new building and a new brand. Their goal was to create a logo that honored their Presbyterian heritage while presenting a warm, modern, and approachable face to both long-time members and newcomers they hope to welcome into a new space soon.

Through a collaborative process, I developed a clean, contemporary logo that incorporated subtle symbolic elements reflective of their denomination’s faith and history. I had fun diving into the history of how various denominations have historically used crosses in their spaces and in their branding on this one! After one round of revisions that changed up the font options a tad, the final design balanced tradition and modernity. It will be used across digital platforms, signage, print materials, and in community outreach efforts. Stay tuned to see how we incorporate the logo into print and digital collateral!

The Experience

“Working with [Your Name] was an absolute pleasure. They took the time to understand who we are as a church and what we hope to offer our community. The final logo beautifully captures our spirit. It’s modern, meaningful, and welcoming. We’ve received so many compliments, and it’s made a real difference in how we present ourselves.”
